Urban Capital was founded in 1996 by David Wex and Mark Reeve. They started out with Camden Lofts - a 48 unit development in Toronto's Fashion District, followed by Charlotte Lofts - a 66 unit development, also in Toronto. With two successful consecutive builds, David's and Mark's sights were set on Ottawa, where they built a large 420 unit development called East Market. Since those early years, Urban Capital has expanded across Canada with 4,500 condominiums built, 2,600 units under construction and thousands more in planning/sales phases, for a total of over $3.7 billion in development.
